Episode 491

This one’s all over the place, but you’ve come to expect that by now. A few dips into the new stuff, but for the most part we root around on the deep shelves of the library and come away with some nice sounds. Enjoy.

Quick story for you, related to the opening bit. In the 80s, I was somewhat renowned, among people who knew me, for my answering machine messages. As you might imagine, some of them were pretty heavily produced, always scripted, sometimes had background music, and more often than not were very silly. My friends would actually get mad at me if I answered the phone because they didn’t get to hear my latest marvel. Often I’d have to hang up, let them call back, wait for the message to play out, then pick up after the beep!
