I went a little crazy and decided to kick us off in the library. I know–wild, right? We’ll spin back into the Holding Tanks at the halfway point, but not before a listen to someone who’s definitely coming to us from the “How Did You End Up Here?” Department. (It’s a pretty cool one, honestly.)
Hiding in here we’ve got music inspired by a novel, music that started with a harp in a tree, and music used in a healing ceremony for a loved one. Do I have your attention?
Two distinct parts here. We’ll kick off with a couple long-ish, flowing tracks, endure a short talky bit, then head off again where things get a bit…peppier. (Did I just use an old-guy word? Oh, well. Enjoy!)
*Neglected to mention this is a re-release of a 1999 album some folks consider a classic of dark ambient. **Also should have noted this is a cover of this song by Harald Grosskopf
I quite enjoyed digging around in the library in the previous episode, so I’ve decided to ride that train a little longer here. Eighteen luscious tracks, aided and abetted by the shuffle (but mindfully, mind you!). And you never know…there just might be one of those. Yeah, one. Sure. That’s what I meant.

*Looks like this might be out of print/unavailable. You can find it through resellers, but I don’t link to them here. **Did I forget to mention this one? I think I did. Well, there it is.
Not much to say here other than it’s a 50/50 ride, with tracks in the back half going back to 2013. Although I do get to teach you what a ney is, so there’s that. Enjoy.

Call it a landmark without fanfare. Instead, just another 90 minutes of dang fine music, including an unplanned “Ladies of the Piano” section. The flow dictates the show…
And that’s a wrap on 15 years in production! The podcast turns 16 with a two-hour bash in the library and let me tell you, it’s a pretty eclectic blend. Thank you for listening, whether you’re first time or long time, and for indulging my frequent foolishness. Trust me, it comes from a place of pure joy in having the chance to share amazing music with you. All righty, let’s get the party started!
